Guniea Pig Help Please?

Well when i was at the zoo a couple months ago they have a guinea pig exhibit. And there is about 200 guinea pigs and they all were crying and squeaking. So i was figuring they were just talking and socializing. Make sure the guinea pig is definitely a girl. And keep them in separate cages close to each other. then slowly introduce them so they don't fight.
