HOW DOES CHRISTOPHER MARLOWE PORTRAY THE DOWNFALL AND MORAL DEGRADATION OF DR. FAUSTUS?

Read the early scenes where he is a respected scholar, esp. that lovely monologue where he surveys his learning and rejects it. Then read the scenes where he is using his supposedly great powers to play stupid jokes at the emperor's court.
