It's about to be my first time putting in contact lenses and i am sooo scared, PLEASE HELP ME!?

i don't need gles or contacts, but i wanted to wear colored lenses for a little while just 1ce just for the fun of it, but i am sooo scared, could i scratch my cornea by mistake?! PLEASE HELP! what if they hurt me! will they?!
