Hello all! i would like to know about how much money i should bring for our 3 week south africa trip?

my sis and i are heading to south africa at the end of september (wow its coming up quick!) and we want to bring enough money to last us the full 3 weeks comfortably while still on a budget. our car rental has already been paid, as well as the 5 day safari. We will be in Cape town for 8 days then we will travel to the east until we get to kruger. we plan on going shark diving once and eating out a few times per week. anyone have an idea as to how much money we should bring? We were shooting for $2000- $3000 in U.S. dollars (in different forms of currency) and that will be including the cost of our accomodation which is about $500 U.S. dollars but we will pay for it when we arrive. any help would be great! thanks!
