Which is loonier? The loony left or the loony right?

I just got done watching Bill Maher on Larry King Live, and as he was driveling on about Ann Coulter a thought struck me: Both Maher and Coulter sound like they've been locked in a room and forced to listen to themselves for the last ten years. So, with that as a backdrop, a question: Who's more ridiculous and dangerous; the loony right, or the loony left?
