Aust v NZ / Bledisloe cup game in Hong Kong, what is the point of it ?

More than 8000 seats will sell. It will be a sell out. Last two years both games have been dead rubbers and both have been hugely profitable for both teams. Both the NZRU and ARU make millions in revenue from this test which alternates between Tokyo and Hong Kong. It also breaks up the flight to the UK with a stopover rather than one long 24 hour flight along with promoting the game in Asia. As with all NZ and Australia games, their will be a lot of interest. It is #1 versus #2 in the world after all. It also gives both teams a game under their belt before their first game in the UK. Judgiong by the improved records of NZ and Australia in the last 3 years on their UK tours it defintely works.
