I have 2 yahoo accts. trying desparately to get to the first. please HELP!?

when asked to verify who I am with birthdate etc, all roads lead me to the 2nd account. But the first account seems to be where filtered email goes. Most is spam, but some is real email that I can't get to. Any brilliant ideas how to find that other account name?
