That depends on whether that gene is gender-linked or not, how much cross-over occurs during myosis, what gender the child is, which individual genes are dominant. . . the list goes on. You really need to talk to a qualified geneticist for this. If the problem is throughout the genes your mother gave you, then Your children have a 50 percent chance of having it, unless the DNA involved is gender-linked, in which case the girls will probably have it while the boys probably won't.
