Can I get out of a speeding ticket if the cop didn't have me sign the ticket?

I have a court date tomorrow and I think I have a good case. I (think) the cop was in a hurry and didn't have me sign the ticket acknowledging that I received it. Signing the ticket doesn't admit guilt, it just means you received a ticket. Also, the cop told me to just pay the fine and not worry about court - he also left "court date" blank on ticket - which I think is a violation of my rights. The officer failed to let me know I had the option of going to court and just umed I'd pay the ticket. I think I might get out of the ticket on these 2 technicalities. Do I have a chance?
